Unsure of what certifications you need in order to fulfill the OSAA requirements for the 2017-2018 season? According to OSAA, these are the courses required in order to coach high school athletics, cheerleading and dance/drill in Oregon:

» AD/Coaches Certification Requirement
» Certification through NFHS Coaches Education program (one time requirement) – NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course
» Online Concussion Management Class (required annually) – NFHS Concussion Management Course
» NFHS Guide to Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention Course (required every other year) – NFHS Learning Center (free course)
» Online Steroid Training and Assessment Class (required once every four years) – ODE Steroid Training and Assessment
» **Cheerleading and Dance/Drill Coaches Only** Spirit Safety Clinic (required annually)
» First Aid/CPR Certification (per school district policy)
