The Bruinettes post a score of 75.08 to earn first place over Centennial

The Barlow Bruinettes won at Parkrose with their piece, "Legendary."
On Feb. 22, 16 dance teams representing the 5A, 6A, and Show divisions competed at Parkrose.
Performing its piece, “Legendary,” Barlow took first in the 6A division (75.08). The Centennial Hi-C’s (69.58) finished second, followed by Liberty (6
3.17), and Reynolds (62.90).
In the 5A division, the Vision Dancers from Scappoose earned first place with their piece Idiosyncrasy (79.58). La Salle Prep, a newcomer to the 5A division, finished second (66.25) with its performance of “Lifeline.“
For the first time this season, nearly all teams in the Show division competed against one another.
Canby took first place for its performance of “/te’ran/” (87.08). Clackamas finished second with its piece “Slumber” (83.60). The Glencoe Tidettes earned third with their performance of “Now or Never” (78.17). West Linn (77.02) and Sprague (76.82) finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively.Rounding out the division were Cleveland (76.18), Putnam (75.10), Parkrose (73.78), Grant (70.78), and David Douglas (68.32).
Teams in the 4-1A, 5A, 6A, and Show divisions will compete on Saturday at Pendleton and Sprague.
